How Does Ozone Kill Bacteria & Parasites?

Hi all today we will be discussing the amazing healing power of Ozone, and the different treatment methods available. We will cover our journey with Lyme disease and how ‘ozone gas’ has and still is helping us heal.

Ozone treatments have been effective in cleaning our systems from top to bottom. So, what is Ozone and why is it so effective? How does it kill harmful bacteria, viruses & parasites? What are the benefits of ozone therapy?

In my opinion, parasites are one of the key areas to address. It doesn’t matter if you have Lyme or any other disease, you’ll have to accept that you are host to an array of creatures all of which need to be evicted to make a full recovery.

As well as your parasite population, over the years your body will of built up a collection of harmful bacteria, viruses and fungus. Ozone will from personal experience help eradicate these infections as well, in a number of ways.

Now, that’s not an easy question to answer, and also it’s the wrong question, because it depends on a number of factors, like;

Ozone Treatments and Protocols

As well as illness, we have clients that use ozone therapies for wellness and rehab. Ozone is great for general health and can be used with other therapies like vitamin and mineral infusions. 

We have had great success in symptom reductions and parasite eradication. If you have any digestive issues, a parasite cleanse is essential.

Everyone is host to these creatures, regardless of current health. Everything you eat they eat, they go to the toilet inside you. In fact, they burrow into the intestinal walls, live in major organs like your liver and lay eggs in cysts which are then hidden in muscle cells and left to cause havoc later. 

They also carry infections inside them, that react to our food, chemicals and other environmental contamination. It has been shown that parasites are found in tumours and are linked to other types of cancer as well.

Oxidative Stress Reduction

Oxidative stress has a hand in most diseases because it causes inflammation, which then causes injuries, pain, early ageing of the skin, organs and brain etc. Oxidative stress increases as we age. But, bad diets, lack of exercise and environmental factors like air pollutants play roles increasing oxidative stress levels.

Stimulating the immune system is essential and Ozone definitely modulates the immune system. Both myself and my wife can speak from our experience of having chronic Lyme disease and the benefits of all the different Ozone therapies. 

Ozone is made of 3 Oxygen atoms, which makes it highly reactive. Ozone helps our bodies re-oxygenate increasing oxygen efficiency. The day after an Ozone 2 Pass or 10 Pass, if I lift weights, I feel stronger and have more endurance, this will continue for about a week.

Once Ozone gas hit the intestines, via Rectal Ozone treatment a chemical reaction converts ozone to hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Hydrogen Peroxide is very successful at killing infections. So once in your body via Ozone Rectal or Vaginal Insufflations or digestive tract (Ozonated Water), Skin (Ozone Sauna, Ozonated oils), Muscle and Joints (injections) and Blood (Hyperbaric Multi-Pass), it kills infections. 

H2O2 kills bacteria cells by destroying their cell walls. H2O2 is produced naturally by the body’s T-cells and also destroys, viruses, parasites and fungi. Ozone breaks down the cell walls of infectious diseases. That is why Ozone is effective for treating Lyme disease. Here are a couple of treatments we use at home and in the clinic;

Home Ozone Rectal Insufflations (RI)

Owning your own Ozone Generator and O2 supply is essential for home treatments of ozone production. We fill a silicone bag with between 200-400ml of Ozone gas. This is made using Oxygen either from medical grade O2 or using an O2 concentrator, we connect it to an Ozone (03) generator, and fill the bag.

We then attach a catheter to the bag and insert it in the rectum, release the bag lock and squeeze the gas into our intestines. Takes about 15 mins.

Clinic Ozone Rectal/Vaginal Insufflations.

A similar process, only this time the nurse uses the Hermann Medizone medical ozone equipment. This is a better treatment but it needs the nurse to operate. Takes about 20-30mins. 

These are some personal health issues that have been aided by Ozone Rectal Insufflations (RI);

• SIBO

• Polyps
• Piles (haemorrhoids) reduction
• Gut and other digestion issues
• Parasite and other infections

Both home and clinic treatments are recommended. Home treatments can be done more regular but clinic treatment are more accurate and extremely effective.

Over the last few years, colonic irrigations have become popular, and they are good at cleaning the lower intestine especially when accompanied with ozonated water too. But Ozone Rectal Insufflations (RI) reach as far as the liver via the portal vein.

Hyperbaric MultiPass – Ozone 2 Pass Therapy

Blood is drawn from an arm into a sterile bottle, approx 100-200ml, then the blood is shaken while the machine produces ozone and from medical grade oxygen and infuses it with the blood. The Blood Ozone mixture is then replaced into the body by gravity. This is then repeated, hence ‘Ozone 2 Pass’.

This is a great treatment for wellness, if you want a quick immune boost, have parasites, other infections, or sleep issues and much more. We have found that this treatment works great. It only takes about 20 minutes for the whole procedure, so can easily be done in a lunch break. It also costs a fraction of the full treatment.

What we have found this treatment very useful for Lyme sufferers or people with compromised immune systems, as there are virtually no ‘detox’ symptoms. And instead of having an Ozone 10 pass, which will get deeper into our bodies and can sometimes cause what’s known as a ‘herxheimer reaction’. An Ozone 2 Pass is a much gentler procedure.

With serious illnesses like Lyme disease, most of people just want it gone now. We are willing to do almost anything. But this doesn’t work really work in practice, having more on most occasions is not more effective. We work on the principles that ‘less is more’.

Building up from an Ozone 1 pass, 2 pass, up to a high level 10 Pass is a prudent way forward for lasting health gains. Healing from Lyme will take years, it is a long play. Because there are so many things to change and take into consideration. The nature of what these infections cause like hormonal changes and various other damage, means we have to be gentle.

I personally use Ozone every day at home, 2 Ozone rectal insufflations, & 250ml of Ozonated water. We also use our clinic to have Ozone 2 passes and Ozone 10 pass treatments.  

Small gains put less pressure on the already compromised system, this has worked better for us. Making sure every treatment means you move forward and make the symptom burden lighter.
